Cooperative Agencies and Resources for Education (CARE)
CARE was established by the State of California in 1982 as a supplemental component of EOPS. The CARE program is for single parents who are currently CalWORKs/TANF/ Cash Aid recipients. The CARE program provides resources and support for disadvantaged single parents and promotes self-sufficiency through education and training.

Qualifications
If you are 18 years of age or older, designated as single head of household, with at least one child under the age of 18 are receiving CalWORKs/TANF and accepted into the EOPS program, you may qualify for additional CARE services. Students must meet requirements for EOPS in addition to CARE criteria.

CARE (Cooperative Agencies and Resources for Education) Club's mission is to assist single parents in reaching their educational goals through support and financial resources and instilling a sense of self-esteem in its members by providing a forum for them to reach out and help others in need.
